ScaleDesk is a product company with a services team. Some customers simply sign up for a platform. Others want help fitting it to their process, or need something built around the way they work. This article describes what working with us usually looks like, so you know what to expect.
Two ways to work with us
- Use a platform on its own. Choose a product such as LeadForGrow or TalkForGrow, set it up and start.
- Add services. We help plan, configure, integrate or build custom pieces, and can support the result after launch.
Many customers combine both: a platform plus some tailored work.
What a typical engagement looks like
1. First conversation
We start by listening. You tell us about your business, where leads or time are being lost, and what you would like to improve. We ask questions about your process, your channels and your team.
2. Discovery
We look at how things work today: how leads arrive, who follows up, which tools you use and where the gaps are. The aim is to find the problem worth solving first, which is not always the one people mention initially.
3. Proposal
You receive a clear plan describing:
- The problem and the outcome we are aiming for.
- What we will do, in phases.
- What we need from you.
- Timeline and cost.
- What is included and what is not.

4. Build or configure
We set up the platform, connect your channels and build agreed customisations. You see progress along the way rather than only at the end.
5. Test and pilot
We test with real scenarios and often start with a small group or one channel. You give feedback and we refine. The rollout approach follows the ideas in our implementation roadmap.
6. Launch and training
We help your team understand the changes and how to use them. People should feel that the tools make their work easier.
7. Support and improvement
After launch we review results with you, fix issues and identify the next improvement. Good automation is maintained, not abandoned.
How to prepare for the first call
You do not need a formal brief. It helps to think about:
- What is the biggest frustration in how you win or serve customers?
- Which channels do customers use to contact you?
- How many people are on your team?
- What tools do you use today?
- What would success look like in three months?
What we ask of you
- A named person who can make decisions and answer questions.
- Access to the information and systems involved.
- Honest feedback on what works and what does not.
- Time from the people who do the work, since they know the details.
What we do not promise
We do not promise guaranteed results, and we would be wary of anyone who does. We focus on understanding your situation, proposing sensible steps and being honest about risks. Read how to measure automation ROI to see how we think about results.

Frequently asked questions
Do I have to buy services with a platform?
No. Platforms can be used on their own. Services are optional, for when you want help setting up or extending them.
How long does a typical project take?
It depends on scope. A focused first project can reach a pilot in a matter of weeks. We give timelines in the proposal.
Who owns the work you build for me?
Ownership terms are agreed in your proposal or contract. We believe you should never be locked out of what you have paid for.
